Fall’s creeping into East Texas. Here’s Annie’s checklist for aerobic systems: the right chlorine tablets, spray field care, rain runoff and your maintenance contract.
Nacogdoches, Texas
Alligator Annie's Septic Systems has built its reputation through hands-on experience, dependable workmanship and personal service. From new septic installations to service and troubleshooting, Alma works to make sure customers understand their systems and know who to call when they need help.
What Annie Does
Everything septic, explained in plain English. No head-scratching required.
The hardworking system out back that nobody thinks about until they have to. Annie makes sure you know how yours works.
Aerobic systems have a few more moving parts. Alma knows 'em, and she'll tell you straight what yours needs.
Building new or replacing an old system? Alma stands behind the equipment and designs she recommends, from the first conversation to the finished install.
Something's not right out there? Don't just stand in the yard wondering. Give Annie a holler.
Funny smells, slow drains, soggy spots? Let's figure out what your system is trying to tell you.
A little attention now beats a big mess later. Ask Alma what your system needs to keep doing its job.
Meet the Lady Herself
Alma E. Tippins is an SFA alumna, longtime East Texas business owner and the personality behind Alligator Annie's Septic Systems. Known throughout the area simply as Alligator Annie, Alma has built her business around quality workmanship, straight talk, customer education and treating people right.
Alma was in the fireplace business until 1986, when Texas went three years in a row without a winter. That settled it: she got out of seasonal businesses for good. (Septic, as she'll happily tell you, is not seasonal.)
Today she runs a crew that digs the hole, sets several-ton concrete tanks and teaches homeowners how to keep their system working with little maintenance. When you call Alligator Annie's, you get Alma, with 30 years in the septic business, and she'd rather explain your system to you than leave you guessing.
